Making a Case that Michael married Egg

Not Annegg of course, but Tracegg.

Exhibit 1
First of all, isn’t it fitting how Michael’s Egg is rarely mentioned, and almost never mentioned by name? It’s as Tracy as the nose on plain’s face!

Exhibit 2
George (and apparently the rest of the family) also have zero sympathy for Michael when his precious Egg is cracking.
S3E7 – *George: “Ovarian cancer.” Gee, I wonder who that was. *

George also refers to his paralegal in S5E4 and Michael thinks George forgot Tracy’s real name, and responds in a similar fashion to George Michael when Michael can’t remember Ann’s name.
George: I knew I should have sold that property when Stacy died.
Michael: Tracy.

Exhibit 3
Similar to George Michael, Michael’s sex life is… limited. Michael clearly settled for Egg, much as he was concerned George Michael settled for Ann.
S1E11 – G.O.B.: I’m sorry. I’m just still on the whole Michael-being-likable thing. You know that he’s only had sex with, like, four women, right?

Exhibit 4
A running theme in this series is Michael repeating the mistakes of George when it comes to parenting. George wasn’t fond of Michael’s Egg, just as Michael wasn’t fond of George Michael’s Egg.
S2E6 – George: Don’t get involved. Believe me, when I thought your first wife was driving us apart, I did not make a stink.
Michael: You complained all the time, and she was my only wife. And she died.

Also in S4E8 – George: You really like this girl?
Michael: She's Tracy.
George: Fat Tracey or thin Tracy at the end?

Exhibit 5
It is implied that Michael only marries Tracegg because he gets her pregnant in their sophomore year of college. While this doesn’t happen with Ann, this same conversation implies George Michael could pop-pop into the same situation.
S2E14 – G.O.B.: “Unless he knocks her up like you did with his mother.”

Exhibit 6
Lucille likes Ann (after Buster leaves for army, Lucille lets her? teach her the ways of God in S2E11). Lucille also liked Tracey.
S1E9 – Lucille: You’re the only child who chose a spouse I liked, and she’s the one who had to die.

Exhibit 7
Like Ann, Tracegg is so forgettable that Barry doesn’t even know that she died!
S2E11 – Barry: I got Michael out of his marriage, didn’t I?
Michael: Actually she died.
Barry: You’re kidding me. I’ve been taking credit for that for years.

Exhibit 8
Sally Sitwell was cool. In S2E11, when Sally imagines how different their lives would have been if they’d gotten together in high school, the ‘entirely different’ kid also looks much cooler than George Michael. Since the only variable that changed was the woman, it implies very egg-like genetics from the mom’s side.
*And yes, the image is from Lindsay’s failed business, but still shows how Lindsay viewed Tracy *

Exhibit 9
When talking about Michael backing out of his relationship with Sally, Lindsay calls him out on his “type” – implying he was not happy and suffered when he was with Tracy. Who does this sound like?
S2E11 – Lindsay: You know, I think you’re looking for a reason this isn’t going to work, because you can’t handle happiness. And you like to suffer.

In closing, you’re a crook Captain hook.

I rest my case.
