It’s always a good idea to put additional weight in the back of a pickup truck during winter, particularly if you have a heavy plow on the front. The back weight improves traction. Surprised someone with a plow wouldn’t do that before the plowing season starts.
Also, looks 100% intentional. I mean, I wouldn’t do it in the city around other people but I’d be lying if I said I never took turns like that in my truck on empty backcountry roads.
Given the conditions, would a cop pull you over for this for reckless driving? If it was a one off, and the driver was obviously in control of the vehicle? Asking for a friend….
Meh early in the mornings if there aren’t many cars on the road I might kick the back out a bit for fun. When I was learning to drive my dad always took me to icy parking lots to get comfortable with the car sliding and counter steering. If you learn to drive in terrible weather driving when it’s nice out seems much easier.
I’m confused, he’s an idiot for perfectly controling the oversteer which is extremely common for rear wheel drive vehicles especially when they have extra weight on the front?
I see lots of people defending this because it was intentional. Yet if this was just a normal dry day and someone swung over into an adjacent lane on a turn you would call them idiots. This was stupid to do with other vehicles so close. Again this sub proves to be full of some real dumb fuckers.
That was honestly really smooth. Almost seems intentional
I’m feeling like that was a just-for-fun power-slide. It seemed under control with no panic braking or over-correction.
Plus, he has a plow, so I’d at least hope he understands snow.
Doesn’t really fit the sub in my opinion.

Probably forgot about the extra weight of the plow, really smooth recovery on that one.
Calgary?

why is the green light blinking?
Not to shit on you, but there’s a 98% chance that wasn’t accidental
That’s the kind of shit you do for fun if you have to drive in the snow.
This post is stupid
That looks intentional.
wrong sub
I don’t have an issue with people having a bit of fun in the snow. It:s not like they were puttimg anyone in danger, they were going pretty slow.
I do that so much when it snows and the cars aren’t anywhere around me.
Yes! It is fun! Practice makes unexpected slides an automatic correction response so there’s no panic
Out whippin some shitties and plowin’ some lots
Déjà vu
I live in Northern Maine and can confirm this is standard operating procedure for plows
Can we please stop posting every single thing on this sub? Like come on. This is not bad.

That was on purpose man
But it was kinda clean tho.
That laugh makes the clip better

Snowkyo Drift.
Looks intentional.
The Fast and the Furious: Nebraska Drift.
Classic. The poster is the idiot
Definitely not an idiot. This just happens in the snow sometimes, especially in a pickup truck.
Even if it wasn’t on purpose it really wasn’t that bad, he regained control fairly quickly, not really an idiot.

100% intentional, and looked like he knew what he was doing. I used to do this in my ranger all the time lol.
