I can’t think of a single other character that would’ve handled this as poorly as Meredith did, and the reason stated in the show makes no sense. I thought everyone or at least multiple coworkers had the same lunch break, so why chose Meredith? We literally see Oscar and Ryan brought in later so I think it might honestly just be some lazy writing. This whole episode was kinda stupid anyways
