HOW CAN I FOLLOW THE W AWARDS COUNT?

You can watch the event live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports from 7.30pm. All coverage of the event can be followed on foxfooty.com.au.

The live vote count will begin at approximately 8.30pm, with the winner to be announced around 9.30pm.

HOW IS THE BEST AND FAIREST DECIDED?

Just like the Brownlow Medal, the AFLW Best and Fairest is decided by a 3-2-1 voting system after each match, with suspended players ineligible.

WHO ARE THE KEY CONTENDERS?

Adelaide’s Ebony Marinoff is the favourite to win the award, which would mark the first time she takes out the game’s top individual honour.

North Melbourne duo Jasmine Garner and Ash Riddell and Richmond’s Monique Conti, who won last year, are the other key contenders.

WHAT OTHER AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT?

In addition to the AFLW Best and Fairest and All-Australian team, the winner of the Rising Star, Mark of the Year, Goal of the Year and Coach of the Year are among the other major awards to be announced.
