I went to a Pixar concert where he did a Q&A before the show. He said the animators slipped that in without telling him, so it was a big surprise to him at the premiere.
I love this guy and I love his music. You can really hear similar sounds he uses in writing his music between some songs on the Speed Racer, Incredibles, and Ratatouille soundtracks. He’s a legend imo
Sooo, this is the guy who the angry German general was talking about in that castle multiplayer level in the first Medal of Honor on PS1. I just read his name and it instantly heard the German shouting in my head lol
I just want to point out that he composed the magnificent score, but Robert and Kristen Lopez wrote and composed most of the songs (including remember me). They also wrote Frozen’s songs and Robert (also wrote music for Book of Mormon) is the youngest ever to be awarded «EGOT», emmy, grammy, oscar and a tony, and the only one to win them twice. They are incredible.
This man does not get enough credit. His scores are all amazing, planet of the apes, star trek, mission impossible, the incredibles. I get the feeling Hollywood is using him as a John Williams replacement, but he earns it.

I think his official title was Coconductor.

Diggin’ the Rebel pin lol
One of my favorite composers. Been enjoying him since Lost, fell in love after Star Trek.
That character always just looked like it was supposed to be based on a specific person. Same goes for the DJ at Ernesto’s party
EDIT: Supposedly it’s Camilo Lara Alvarez
Damn, this guy was a composer in lost, never thought I’d see him randomly on reddit, specially since i just started watching the show a month ago.

Ay de mí, Llorona
Michael Giacchino is amazing. I hope he takes over for John Williams in Star Wars now that he’s retired
His work on the early Medal of Honour games was amazing.
This guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite movie score composers. Coco’s music is gorgeous.
If you want to hear more from him, he put out a concept album a couple months ago. It’s called travelogue vol. 1
I thought this was sal from impractical jokers
Excuse me, 2017? o.o

I really liked his scores for the two MCU Spider-Man movies.
Michael Giacchino looks like he has the utmost respect and admiration for Walter White and wants to gift him a book.
Just watched that movie for the second time yesterday, that movie was awesome
Giacchino also composed “The Married Life” from Up!, which is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard.

He seems to be a little fleshed out in real life
I love that movie.
okay
So the composer for The Truman Show?
Seriously tho the skeleton designs for people are really cool in the movie.

Michael Giacchino also composed the soundtrack for the first Medal of Honor game. Don’t let VGM dissuade you, it’s very much worth listening to.
Strong, orchestral stuff.
