North Melbourne remain undefeated this year after their tight seven-point win for Adelaide, while Brisbane’s victory was even tighter — beating Hawthorn by just one goal.

The Crows’ loss now means they’ll face Fremantle in a do-or-die, with the Dockers kicking Essendon out of finals on Saturday evening with a 10-point win on their home turf.
As for the Hawks, they’ll play the young Power outfit in Melbourne, who in the end ended Richmond’s campaign in a high-scoring affair at Alberton Oval.
Hawthorn and Port Adelaide played each other in a fiery semi-final in the men’s competition, with the Power coming up three-point victors.

WHEN IS THE AFLW GRAND FINAL?
The AFLW finals series will begin next weekend, with no pre-finals bye — unlike the AFL men’s competition.
The 2024 AFLW Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday November 30, however a time slot is yet to be confirmed – with the league strongly considering a night game.
Last year’s Grand Final was hosted at 2:30pm AEDT at Ikon Park.
A venue for the marquee match is also still yet to be decided upon.
HOW THE AFLW FINALS SYSTEM WORKS
The winners of the two qualifying finals advance to host the two preliminary finals, while two teams are eliminated each week until the Grand Final.
The loser of the First Qualifying Final hosts the winner of the First Elimination Final in the First Semi Final.
The loser of the Second Qualifying Final hosts the winner of the Second Elimination Final in the Second Semi Final.
The winner of the First Qualifying Final hosts the winner of the Second Semi Final in the First Preliminary Final.
The winner of the Second Qualifying Final hosts the winner of the First Semi Final in the Second Preliminary Final.
