The Yellowstone universe is expanding once again, this time as a direct follow-up to the acclaimed Taylor Sheridan western drama. In addition to the spin-off starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, another sequel will follow a fan-favorite character from the 2018 series that started it all.
CBS has picked up Y: Marshals, an upcoming spin-off set after Yellowstone that will feature Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton. The show will follow Kayce as he joins an “elite unit of U.S. Marshals.” Check out the official logline below:
“With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.”
