Power banks are often considered utilitarian accessories. That’s why most come as ordinary gray bricks—basic, nondescript, and practical. However, Sharge knew that not everyone would appreciate that and created the Shargeek 170 power bank. This 24,000mAh (86.4Wh), 170W portable battery delivers both aesthetics and functionality.

Price and Availability
The Shargeek 170 is available on Amazon and directly from the Sharge website. Although it is normally $199, it has regularly been on sale for as low as $129.90, giving you a 35% discount.
When the package arrives at your doorstep, you get the power bank inside a box and a braided USB-C to USB-C cable approximately 1.5 meters or 60 inches long. It also includes a microfiber carrying case to help avoid scratches on its plastic body when transporting it.
Beauty Comes at a Cost
The Shargeek 170 is indeed a beautiful device, and I could put its looks next to other nice-looking gear like the Nothing Phone (2). However, it’s a bit pricey compared to other power banks that have the same capacity and power output. For example, the Ugreen 145W Fast Charging Power Bank we reviewed has a slightly higher capacity (25000mAh/90Wh) and lower output (145W), but it costs $100. This makes the Shargeek 170 $79 more expensive.
The power bank’s clear plastic body makes it such a beautiful device, but it also makes it more vulnerable. While other power banks use the same plastic material, scratches, and other cosmetic damage would more readily appear on the Shargeek 170’s clear case. So, I recommend always keeping it in its carrying case when transporting it. And when you’re using it, you could place the portable battery on the case to avoid getting scratched.
Enough Charge to Fill Two Devices
The 24,000mAh (86.4Wh) capacity of the Shargeek 170 is more than enough to charge my 13-inch M2 iPad Air and iPhone 14 Pro Max from both near-empty conditions. After filling up those two devices, I still had about 10% left—enough to fully recharge my 40mm Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (although from about 50%).
The power bank itself has a maximum combined output of 170 watts, with each USB-C port delivering a maximum output of 140 watts. The USB-A port could also deliver up to 30 watts, allowing you to fast charge your devices using just the Shargeek 170. It also has a “Low Current Mode,” which is useful for powering low-power devices like smartwatches and earphones. This mode exits after two hours automatically, but it should be enough to fill your smaller electronics.
Three USB Ports for Charging
You get three high-powered USB-C ports on the Shargeek 170, allowing you to fill up three devices quickly. However, even though each USB-C port has a maximum output of 140 watts, the power bank still has to work within its 170-watt total output limit. This is how it manages the power output of each USB port when using multiple devices.

The fact that both USB-C ports have a maximum output of 140 watts makes it convenient to use. You can always get the highest possible charging speed no matter what port you plug your device into. Furthermore, the USB-A port’s 30 watts is much higher than the 15 to 22.5 watts other power banks deliver.
You Don’t Have to Wait Long to Power Your Gear
Aside from the power bank’s fast charging output, it also has a high input speed. You can recharge the Shargeek 170 through either USB-C port, both of which have an input limit of 140 watts. This means I can refill it from empty in less than 45 minutes.
Aside from that, I could use the power bank for passthrough charging. So, if both the portable battery and my other device are empty by the end of the day and I only have one charging adapter, I could plug my phone into the power bank and then plug the Shargeek 170 into the charging brick. That way, both devices would be full when I wake up.
Should You Buy the Shargeek 170 Power Bank?
Aside from the beauty of this portable battery, the Shargeek 170 also has a few features that let you quickly charge it and your devices. This means you don’t have to spend a long period keeping it plugged into your devices to transfer power, making recharging more convenient. However, it comes at a much higher cost versus other power banks with a similar capacity, although at a slightly lower speed.
If you only care about basic functionality, the Shargeek 170 probably isn’t for you. But if you want aesthetic gear and value your time away from a plug or power bank, the premium you pay for this portable battery is absolutely worth it.
